Prof. Brad Harrington is the Executive Director of the Boston College Center for Work & Family and an associate research professor in the Carroll School of Management. Dr. Harrington’s research and teaching focuses on career management and work-life integration, fatherhood, contemporary workforce management strategies and the leadership of organizational change.
Over the last five years, Prof. Brad Harrington and his colleagues have focused on the changing roles of fathers, culminating in a series of reports entitled The New Dad. This research has amplified the work-life conversation and especially the under-researched area of men, careers, and fatherhood. The New Dad studies have been cited in hundreds of media outlets worldwide and have drawn attention to the increasingly complex lives of families today.
The Deloitte Dads and a father and leader from Johnson & Johnson joined us to share their experiences.
